The Perch’s journey began years ago. Serving as a getaway place for a retired Marine in the early 1980’s, the original house was converted from a construction office trailer. That trailer served us well for 5 years, allowing our family to enjoy Lake Gaston to its fullest. However, the trailer wasn’t our dream. Now, The Perch is the vision of our future. Until we’re able to enjoy it in retirement, we want to share it and Lake Gaston with you.
